Treasurer/ Deputy Clerk/ Deputy Administrator

The Village of Cambridge is seeking candidates for a Treasurer/ Deputy Clerk/ Deputy Administrator.  This position will be responsible for assisting the Village Administrator/Clerk/Deputy Treasurer and the duties will focus on, but are not limited to accounting, accounts payable and receivable including journal entries, budgeting audit preparation, election administration support, licensing, customer service, website management, agenda and packet management and general staff support.  Applicant must be a strong team player and have a strong teamwork ethic.  Preferred candidates will have municipal government experience.  In addition, strong governmental accounting, budget, Treasurer’s Certification, tax incremental financing experience, a degree in accounting or finance and Work Horse Accounting software are plusses. NOTICE OF SPRING ELECTION AND
OPEN VILLAGE BOARD SEAT

An election will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, for the offices of Village Trustee.  The term for Village Trustee begins on April 28, 2023, for a term lasting two years. 

The seats for the following incumbents will be open:  Village Trustees Chuck Franklin, Ted Kumbier and Tim Phelps, as well as Village President Mark McNally.  Trustee Kumbier has submitted his paperwork for non-candidacy stating that he will not be running for re-election.

Village of Cambridge Alternate Side Parking

Per Village of Cambridge Ordinances (10.24.080), alternate side parking is in effect from December 1 and April 1, between the hours of 1:00 AM and 7:00 AM.  Vehicles must be parked on the even side of the street on even numbered calendar days, and on the odd side of the street on odd numbered calendar days.

This will ensure that our Public Works Department can clear our streets in the most efficient, safest manner, providing safer driving conditions for our residents. Thank you for your cooperation.
